Once you’ve entered this information, you’ll need to create a password for your account and agree to the terms and conditions. Earning Points
Earning points on the YouGov website is easy. As a member of the site, you’ll receive regular invitations to participate in surveys via email. Each time you complete a survey, you’ll be rewarded with a certain number of points. The number of points you earn per survey will depend on the length and complexity of the survey, but you can typically expect to earn between 50 and 500 points per survey.
In addition to completing surveys, there are a few other ways you can earn points on YouGov. For example, you can refer your friends and family to join the site and earn points for each person who signs up using your referral link.
You can also earn points by participating in special promotions and offers or by taking advantage of bonus point opportunities that may be available from time to time.

How to Redeem Points?
Redeeming points on the YouGov website is easy and straightforward. Once you’ve accumulated a sufficient number of points, you’ll be able to redeem them for a variety of rewards. To view the available rewards and the number of points required to redeem them, simply log in to your YouGov account and click on the “Rewards” tab.
On the rewards page, you’ll see a list of all the available rewards and the number of points required to redeem each one. To claim a reward, simply click on the “Claim” button next to the reward you’re interested in. This will add the reward to your account and deduct the appropriate number of points from your balance.
1,400 points equals $1 and once you hit the equivalent of $15, you can choose to get a gift certificate from a range of retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and more.
If you would prefer cash, this is possible as well via bank transfer or PayPal, but you do need a huge $50 earned first.
It’s worth noting that the rewards available on YouGov can vary from time to time, so it’s a good idea to check back regularly to see what’s available. Some common rewards include gift cards to popular retailers, charitable donations, and other prizes.
Once you’ve claimed a reward, it will be added to your account and you’ll be able to access it from the “My Rewards” tab. From here, you can view details about your rewards, including the expiration date and any terms and conditions that may apply.
I like the range of rewards, but this is a lower paid survey site compared to many others.
Things to note
YouGov does have an app that you can use to take surveys and earn points on the go. The YouGov app is available for both iOS and Android devices, and can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Once you’ve downloaded the app and logged in to your YouGov account, you’ll be able to view available surveys and complete them directly from your device. You’ll earn points for each survey you complete, just as you would if you were using the YouGov website on a computer.
The YouGov app also allows you to track your points balance and view your rewards directly from your device. This can be convenient if you prefer to complete surveys and redeem rewards on the go, rather than using a computer.
In addition to taking surveys, the YouGov app also includes a feature called “YouGov Pulse,” which allows you to see how your opinions compare to those of other YouGov users. This can be interesting and informative, and is a unique feature of the YouGov app.

Summary – 2.5 / 5
I have mixed feelings about YouGov.
I like it because it’s a user-friendly and convenient way to earn rewards simply by sharing my opinions. The surveys are generally interesting and easy to complete, and I like the wide variety of rewards to choose from. I also appreciate that YouGov is transparent about how points are earned and rewarded.
However, I don’t find the time/rewards ratio to be as good as other survey sites and I don’t like how I need to have the equivalent of $50 in points before I can withdraw it as cash.
Despite this, overall I find YouGov to be worth keeping on my phone for when I don’t have offers from other survey sites.
